I did short presentation at a National Business to Business Centre networking event for SMEs last week at Warwick University. As well explaining a little about what my company does, I gave them a short burst of the blogging message, with some explanation of the ROI, and a plea that they should find out more about it today and get something started for their own company. I asked for a show of hands with over 60 business people in the room, only one other person was a blogger, and hers was for the Warwickshire Spiritual Network . I don’t wish to disparage her theme in any way, but I wasn’t even expecting even 1 hand to go up. I am, however, please to report that I had a steady stream of interested people after the event wanting to find out more, and asking questions, to the extent that I headed for home with a sore throat!. So many UK business people either don’t get it, or don’t know enough about it yet, and that needs to change for them to stay competitive.
