You might have seen my report on the London Girl Geek Dinner that I spoke at the other night. Dominic Tristram did a fine job of videoing it, whilst struggling with the background noise of a busy wine bar, and has put it up on Viddler. The other speakers were Angela Beesley of Wikia and WikiMedia Foundation, and WikiMonkey (with Roland Glew). You might be interested when you have 55 minutes spare, but really I’ve put it here more as an example of a nice user interface for a video podcast site. It allows you to add, at the appropriate point in the timeline, a tag, or a comment, or even a video response. Viddler looks good, and I understand their size limits on upload are generous too. Well worth investigating.
Update: Notice the first little dot within the timeline? Assuming no-one else has added a tag or a comment before, that’s the point in the presentation when Hugh asks a question. You could jump in at that point and hear the question, and my answer about the BBC. You have to have a Viddler user ID to add comments. It’s all free!
