We’re pleased to announce that the inaugural London meeting of the CreativeCoffee Club will be on Wednesday 19th September, from 10:00 till 12:00 at Foyle’s Café in Charing Cross Road. CreativeCoffee Club aims to become “the crucible for creativity”, and is a meetup after the style of OpenCoffee Club, but focusing on creativity in business, the arts and academia. You can find out more about it here.
We plan to hold regular meetings on Wednesday mornings, probably once or twice a month. Once we’ve gauged the initial interest we’ll settle down in to a regular pattern, alternating between London and Leicester, but you will always be able to find the next one here on this site.
Our friends at Trusted Places suggested we use Foyles Café, on the first floor at the front of their Charing Cross Road store - nearest tube Tottenham Court Road. Jason, the manager, is happy to have us along. It’s got good coffee, free wifi, a nice atmosphere, and shares space with Ray’s Jazz shop, so the music is always good. We aren’t sure how many will attend, so we’ll “suck it and see”. It’s quite small - if CCC gets so popular that we are looking for a bigger venue, then that will be great too. I’ll be there, along with the other founders of CreativeCoffee Club - Toby Moores and David Tebbutt have confirmed, and we hope Sue Thomas and Stephen Brown can make it down too. We would love to see you there to talk about creativity.
